A Certified Communications Professional, I’ve earned many awards for my work from such organizations as The Association for Women in Communications (AWC), International Association of Business Communicators (IABC), PublicRelations Society of America (PRSA), and Goodwill Industries International. In addition, I judge international communication competitions, review portfolios for the AWC Professional Communicator Certification, and mentor several young women. Recently, I was named one of Central PA's 25 Women of Influence and a finalist in the NASE Award Sole Proprietor category. I also was honored as one of Pennsylvania’s Best 50 Women in Business and named to the League of Women Voters Anna Estes Strawbridge Honor Roll and the Multiple Sclerosis Leadership Class.

I earned a BS from Millersville University and a Masters of Public Administration from Penn State University, and I continue to participate in all types of conferences, workshops and seminars (virtual and real) to stay on top of the latest trends, technologies and practices. Very concerned about the environment and global warming -- no matter what those stodgy old guys say --- my business has earned green plus certification (see neat logo below). Likewise, I am an animal lover and anthropomorphize them all the time. I’d be a vegetarian if I could give up hamburgers.
